I’m Dan Llewellyn, an adventure filmmaker, camera operator, and drone pilot based in Byron Bay, Australia.

My background was built in the sky as a freefall camera operator, skydive instructor and BASE jumper. Spending years tracking people through the air teaches you how to think on your feet and get the shot, no matter the circumstances.

On the ground, I have backed that up with years of experience in the film and TV commercial world as a grip - knowing how to safely rig cameras to vehicles, track fast action, as well as handle gear in challenging environments. In addition to all that, I have over 1,000 commercial drone hours, which allows me to get a lens into places that most people can’t, or won’t.

I live for the raw, authentic storytelling that happens completely off the beaten track and I look forward to helping you tell your unique story.
